Adi Kuneva is a researcher in the field of urban studies and cultural studies. She graduated Sofia University with a BA in Cultural studies. During her bachelor she started working with cultural organizations and more specifically the independent performing arts. She has worked with many cultural organisations, including: “36 monkeys”, Studio for documentary theater Vox Populi, Sofia International literature festival, Eurodram, International Sofia Film Fest and more. She joined ACT association first as a volunteer in 2014, later as a assistance coordinator of the festival and in 2019 as coordinator of the festival.
Parallel Adi graduated a master program in Urban studies – “4Cities”. Currently she is continuing working in the sphere of urban research and urban planning. Her interests are concentrated in the topics where art and the city meet – cultural urban policies, socially engaged art, identity and diversity in the city, cultural heritage, urban sustainable development.
